A blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this starts out reductive, which blows off with time. Behind that are notes of blue fruit, chocolate and coffee. Soft, plum feeling flavors follow, coating the palate from end to end. The Cabernet and Merlot provide enough structure to stand it up. It's a lot of wine for the money—a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
