The 2018 Primitivo Settimo Ceppo Taurino lifts from the glass with a refined bouquet showing dried black cherries, dusty rose and clove nuances. It's soft and round on the palate with juicy acidity that enlivens its red and blue fruits. Sour citrus adds contrast toward the close. This finishes potent, long and fresh. Plum and tangerine notes gradually fade. The Settimo Ceppo is impressive, to say the least, and in perfect harmony.

A mouthwatering red, with a rich layer of crushed black cherry and black raspberry fruit accented by iron, woodsy spices, dried flowers and medicinal herbs. Well-knit and medium-bodied, sculpted by light, taut tannins that firm the finish. Drink now through 2028. 1,000 cases made, 100 cases imported.
