The sweetly-scented 2021 Insolia lifts from the glass with a smoky mix of musky ripe peaches and candied citrus tones. It engulfs the palate with weighty textures offset by saline-minerals, as floral-laced orchard fruits settle upon the senses. This finishes long and spicy with a tropical flair of melon and flowery perfumes. The 2021 is a bit richer than I crave from a fresh Insolia, yet it maintains balance throughout.
