The 2019 Malbec Graffito is 4/5 from Perdriel with the remainder from Paraje Altamira and 60% aged in used barrels for up to 12 months. Purplish red in color. The pure, intense nose opens with fresh plums and violets followed by country herbs and a dusty feel over a bed of oak. With a voluminous, skinny flow for the variety, it’s juicy and light-footed with fine, slightly reactive tannins. Flavorful and expressive, it’s on the linear side, partly because of the year and partly the Altamira region. Drinking window: 2021 - 2031
