95 Points Jeb Dunnuck: Made by Thomas Rivers Brown, there are a scant 270 cases of the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, which comes all from Howell Mountain. This ripe, sexy 2018 has loads of crème de cassis and blue fruits intermixed with notes of candied violets, scorched earth, Asian spices, tobacco, and cedary aromas and flavors. With full-bodied richness and an up-front, opulent style, it still has ripe tannins, terrific purity, and a great finish. It's going to drink nicely for at least 10-15 years.
